May is Mary’s month. It’s also a special month for Baritone and me.
7 years ago today is the day Baritone proposed. 7 years ago today is the day I said “Yes”. It was a beautiful day, a Sunday, the Feast of the Coronation of Mary as well as the Feast of Pentecost.
11 months later, in the month of May, we were married. Baritone had composed a 5-part polyphonic mass setting that the choir sang at our wedding.
7 years later (from our engagement), 6 years later (from our wedding), I could not be happier. God has blessed us abundantly, most importantly with a beautiful marriage and with faith and love that continue to grow and strengthen.
